SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- He's the man who brought you such hits as "Release Me" and "After the Lovin'" and he made a stop at Proctor's in Schenectady Friday evening.
Engelbert Humperdinck is on his "Legacy of Love Tour." We were able to get backstage for rehearsals and had a chance to speak with the contemporary singer.
After 40 years of recording and touring, Humperdinck says he still tries to keep things fresh for fans.
"Although I have to do my hits, which are important, but I'm always putting new things into the show and I use it as a testing ground. When I'm singing the new song, I'm saying it's a test for the audience and hopefully if they like it then I'll release it as a single," Humperdinck said.
Engelbert Humperdinck's "Legacy of Love Tour" wraps up in October.
