From beginning to end, fans are treated to Humperdinck in his prime, and at his best. Recorded in a 1972 concert, Engelbert roars into action with an excellent rendition of his hit "There's a Kind of Hush." This tune puts you in the mood to be entertained. Engelbert does not disappoint! His soft ballad, "Il Mondo" is quite incredible. "Without You" is another track that shows the amazing voice this guys got, and leaves you shaking your head as well as cementing his place in history as perhaps the greatest ballad-teer of all time!
the man still reigns as the king of romantic popular music and thats why for 35 years he has never played to an empty seat.from the first album release me to live in japan to his latest definition of love the man shows why he is the premier voice of the 20th century.there is not a singer alive past or present who can shine his shoes including sinatra presley or jones.
