Engelbert Humperdinck Releases ‘All About Love’ EP Featuring New Singles & Live-Set Favorites
Music fans old and new have re-discovered one of England’s greatest singers of all time, Engelbert Humperdinck and are loving what they found. The indomitable 86 year young “Leicester boy” (as the Queen calls him) finds himself at the center of attention once again thanks to several of his classic hits being featured on hit TV shows like Moon Knight (Disney+) “A Man Without Love”, Umbrella Academy (Netflix) “Quando, Quando, Quando”, and a newly recorded version of West Ham United’s football anthem ‘Forever Blowing Bubbles’ in Brad Pitt’s film ‘Bullet Train’. Not one to rest on his laurels Engelbert is determined to show fans some new tricks with the release of a new EP, All About Love now available via OK!Good Records. The EP features new live-set favorites, several of which the singer debuted during his latest YouTube Live Special which is closing in on 1 Million views in just over a month. Engelbert kicks off the new EP with his latest hit “You’re The First, The Last, My Everything”. Delivering a fresh take on Barry White’s 1974 chart-topping Gold record, Engelbert turns the classic track into a Country Line Dance number. The accompanying music video filmed at the Cowboy Palace Saloon – an authentic Honky Tonk Club in California, has amassed an astounding 2.5 million views on YouTube since its premiere just three months ago. Next up is a marvelous new interpretation of the Bee Gees’ first US #1 and one of the greatest love songs of its era, “How Can You Mend A Broken Heart”. Engelbert’s heartfelt rendition was premiered on his YouTube Live Special and after being met with such a resounding enthusiasm by his fans, the decision was made to officially release a studio version immediately. The five-song All About Love EP is rounded out by stunning renditions of the Mel & Tim Stax classic “Starting All Over Again,” “Take Me Back Again” which Engelbert had previously recorded and revisited for this EP, and the exhilarating Lou Rawls’ standard “You’ll Never Find Another Live Like Mine.” Recorded at Black Bird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee the EP delivers a beautiful blend of country and soul productions and a provides a sneak peek at the singer’s current live-set. The “King of Romance”, as Engelbert is lovingly nicknamed by his legion of fans, recently celebrated over 50 years in show business. With his most recent albums on OK!Good Records; The Man I Want to Be (2017), Warmest Christmas Wishes (2018) and EPs Reflections (2019), Sentiments (2020) and Regards (2021) – Engelbert has shown another side of his talent by picking more introspective songs that connect with his life’s experience. His new music has opened a new chapter in the legend’s career as he continues to inspire and connect with fans of all ages. A full length album is planned for early 2023 and will include a number of timeless love songs which Engelbert re-discovered on a trip down Memory Lane, all in his own inimitable style and more than a touch of country flavor.
